Whispers in the Woods

Today is national Poem in Your Pocket Day! It is to encourage us all to carry and share a poem, so I wrote you a little poem about my love of folklore.

Whispers in the Woods

I walk where ancient stories sleep,

Where shadows dance and secrets creep.

In tales of tricksters, gods and flame,

I find myself and speak their name.

Each myth a thread, each fable spun,

A map beneath the setting sun.

I follow where the stories lead,

A world of wonder, I sit and read.
