This week in #creatureoftheweek we look at not just one, but a whole collection of disturbing skeletal remains found in the basement of a demolished London mansion.

A collection of rare skeletons have been unearthed in a London Home. The collection belonged to the 18th century cryptozoologist and eccentric archaeologist Thomas Theodore Merrylin. The relics feature creatures such as Draco Magnus, Icythyosapien, Lycanthrope, Homomimus Alatus and Nosferatu...that's dragons, mermaids, werewolves, fairies and vampires in laymen terms.
Builders discovered the withered skeletal remains (some with the skin, fur and scales remaining!) in boxes in the basement of an old abandoned mansion due to be demolished. Along with the creepy artefacts were Thomas' diaries. His diaries refer to ‘all sorts of advanced ideas that didn’t exist at the time, such as quantum physics and the multiverse theory’. A trust has now been set up to analyse and collate the findings.
